　　august, september and october are the months of kites flying, because the wind blows north-westwards. during these months, many wonderful kites are flying in the blue sky.

　　one day as the school was over, qin bo, my classmate, called me accompanying him to have kite flying at the big grass field. i had not been flown kite for a long time. so i promised him at last, when i reached there at five, i found him waiting for me.

　　many boys were flying their kites higher in the sky. they were ecited when they found their kites win anothers. they shouted with joy and jumped up and down.

　　not long after, qin bos kite was in the sky, but mine was not. i was so disappointed that i wanted to give up. but i thought how disgraceful i was. so i asked qin bo to echange the kites.

　　oh! his kite was wonderful. it was so light that it flow higher than the kites of all. he told me why my kite could not fly because it was maderoughly; the head was heavy, and the end was light, i agreed and made up my mind to make a new kne that would fly high in the sky.

　　譯文

　　八月、九月、十月是放風(fēng)箏的季節(jié)，因為這時的風(fēng)是朝西北方向刮。在這幾個月里，藍(lán)色的天空中有許多美麗的風(fēng)箏在飛翔。

　　一天放學(xué)時，我的同桌秦波叫我陪他到草地上去放風(fēng)箏。我好久沒放風(fēng)箏了，所以我答應(yīng)了他。當(dāng)我五點鐘到那時，我發(fā)現(xiàn)他正在等我。

　　許多男孩正在向高空中放風(fēng)箏。當(dāng)他們發(fā)現(xiàn)他們自己的風(fēng)箏勝過其它風(fēng)箏時都很激動。他們歡呼雀躍。

　　不長時間，秦波的風(fēng)箏升上天空，可是我的卻沒有。我非常失望，以致想放棄了。但是我想那該多丟臉呀。所以我要求秦波和我換風(fēng)箏。

　　噢！他的風(fēng)箏可真好。它是那么輕盈以至飛過了所有的風(fēng)箏。他告訴我為什么我的風(fēng)箏飛不起來，是因為它制作得太粗糙，頭重尾輕。我同意他的說法并決心做一個飛上高空的新風(fēng)箏。
